Firefighters bring fire
to free houses from a slow burn.
The best way to quell an infidel
is to stoke them until they turn.
After all everyone else
is the cause of all the flames.
So lets give them dry wood
and friction to spark again.
Throw mud at politicians
for slinging at each other.
Flip our flops to break toes
and glob at one another.
Every word is a puppet
when wrung out of context.
Every shieldless sword
means only to vex.
Instead of lefts and rights
and rights and wrongs,
Lets look into broken hearts
and see what's really going on.
